Volleyball is played:

Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Bauer Drive Community Center,
Tuesdays from 10 am to 12 noon at North-Potomac Community Center, and
Fridays from 12 noon to 2 pm at Mid-County Community Center

There are no fixed teams. It is up to those playing to balance the skill as much as possible.   When softball is going on, we get fewer players and almost always only have enough players for one court.   After softball is over, we often will be able to play two courts.    All who come to play will play in all games by rotating players in and out.

There are no charges imposed except by the Community Centers. The current fee paid by most is a Senior fee of $50 per year that includes the right to use exercise rooms as well as the gyms.  All Department of Recreation Montgomery County Community Centers are included for the one $50 fee.

The number of active players during the peak season (i.e Winter) is typically 20-25, which is enough for two courts.  I maintain an email list of approximately 100 players, including many who are inactive most of the year.

We continue to have newer (and younger) players join and older players drop out.
